HEAT SHIELD by JAVAC is a heat-absorbent paste/putty with flame-retardant properties, specially designed to reduce the heat generated during electric welding and oxy-fuel welding. HEAT SHIELD is ideal for protecting against scorching of materials, loosening of joints and fittings, and damage to sensitive components or surfaces. It can be reused up to 40 times — as long as its color remains blue, it is suitable for use; it becomes unusable when it turns white!
