The ACRHDB 1/4" shraeder valve core removal tool is one of the most important components of a proper evacuation system. Removing the valve cores allows full, unrestricted flow through the service port, significantly reducing both evacuation and/or recovery times. Standard valve core removal tools from competitors are designed only for operation under pressure, allowing replacement of leaking shraeder cores without removing the refrigerant. ACRTOOLS valve core removal tools can be used for both vacuum and pressure, enabling routine maintenance as well as faster evacuation and recovery. A side port allows isolation of the hoses to determine the vacuum level during the evacuation process.

Why remove valve cores? Shraeder valve cores are designed to restrict flow and minimize refrigerant loss. Up to 90% of the access port can be restricted by a shraeder core. Removing them maximizes flow and can save hours on any job.

Hot cylinders and slow recovery? A shraeder core acts like an expansion valve, turning liquid refrigerant into vapor and superheating the liquid. This causes the tank to heat up and results in painfully slow recovery times.
