The shraeder valve core removal tool, ACRHDP 5/16", is one of the most important components of a proper evacuation system. Removing the valve cores allows full, unrestricted flow through the service port, significantly reducing both evacuation and/or recovery times. Standard competitor valve core removal tools are designed only for operation under pressure, allowing the replacement of leaking shraeder cores without removing the refrigerant. ACRTOOLS valve core removal tools can be used for both vacuum and pressure, enabling standard maintenance as well as faster evacuation and recovery. A side port allows isolation of the lines to determine the vacuum level during the evacuation process.

Why remove valve cores? Shraeder valve cores are designed to restrict flow and minimize refrigerant loss. Up to 90% of the service port can be restricted by a shraeder core. Removing them maximizes flow and can save hours on any job.

Hot cylinders and slow recovery? A shraeder valve core acts like an expansion valve, converting liquid refrigerant into vapor and superheating the liquid. This causes the tank to heat up and leads to painfully slow recovery times.
