The ACRVC2 1/4" & 5/16" Schrader Valve Core Removal Tool is one of the most important components of a proper evacuation system. Removing the valve cores allows unrestricted flow through the service port significantly reducing evacuation and/or recovery times.

Standard competitor valve core removal tools are designed for pressurized operation only allowing leaking Schrader valve cores to be replaced without removing the refrigerant. ACRTOOLS valve core removal tools can be used under both vacuum and pressure allowing routine maintenance as well as faster evacuation and refrigerant recovery. A side port allows the hoses to be isolated to determine the vacuum level during the evacuation process.

Why Remove Valve Cores?

Schrader valves are designed to restrict flow and minimize refrigerant loss. A Schrader valve core can restrict up to 90% of the service port's flow capacity. Removing the valve cores maximizes flow and can save hours on any job.

Hot Recovery Cylinders and Slow Recovery?

A Schrader valve core acts like an expansion valve converting liquid refrigerant into vapour and causing the refrigerant to overheat. This heats up the recovery cylinder and results in painfully slow recovery times.
