The effects of high ambient temperatures and increased recovery cylinder pressures on the refrigerant recovery process are well known. As the temperature/pressure of the recovery cylinder increases, the recovery rate decreases until it stops completely due to the high-pressure safety switch.

The CPS immersion subcooler provides the technician with a fast and simple solution to mechanical subcooling and high tank pressure with any refrigerant or recovery unit. Standard 1/4" inlet fittings provide easy connection to existing transfer hoses, but it can also be used with 3/8" inlet and outlet fittings to meet any special high-flow fluid requirements.

The CPS MT69 subcooler system converts high-temperature and high-pressure refrigerant gas into a low-temperature and low-pressure liquid, dramatically improving recovery speed and efficiency. The Subcooler is intended for use with all commercially available brands of refrigerant recovery equipment. It is extremely easy to use, saving time and money by providing the missing link under high ambient temperature conditions for all recovery machines available on the market today. All that is required is a 15-litre bucket and water or ice.

It includes an integrated pressure gauge for monitoring pressure changes while remaining lightweight and fully portable. It is used with all CFC, HCFC, and HFC refrigerants, including high-pressure refrigerants such as R410A and R32 (excluding CO₂ and ammonia).
