Semi-hermetic compressor 1K7.2X, of Spanish origin, 1 HP, twin, designed with the latest technology to provide maximum performance.

Motor-driven compressors of the semi-hermetic GELPHA have been specially designed with the most modern technical means to offer maximum efficiency. All the compressors leave the factory fully tested both in the various assembly stages and in the final finish, and are dehydrated and charged with Nitrogen gas.

 
CONSTRUCTION CHARACTERISTICS

Depending on the model, the motor driven compressors consist of two, three or four cylinders: K, L, LR, MR (2), GR (3) and VLR-VR (4). Their basic material is prime quality pearlitic cast iron, ensuring total absence of porosity. The bearings in the compressor body are made of special bronze which offers extraordinary sliding conditions to all the moving parts in the compressor, giving smooth operation and a long life as a result. From March 1995 some modifications have been made to the connecting rods and eccentric shafts of the K and L compressor models, in order that they may be better adapted to the new HFC gases, which have different oils and higher pressures. All the compressors have a level sight glass allowing the oil in the crankcase to be inspected and checked at all times. The compressor body is fitted with a ventilation system allowing gas overpressures which may arise to be eliminated. All our compressors are supplied with their corresponding oil charge and fitted with both the suction and compression cocks with their pressure tapings and filters.
