These “smart connectors” for 1/4"M (male) x 1/4"F (female) service connections with a black handle provide a convenient, safe, and reliable solution for connecting to refrigeration or air conditioning systems without releasing refrigerant into the environment.

Each valve connects to the system without depressing the valve core. Once installed, turning the knob lowers the internal mechanism and depresses the Schrader valve core while simultaneously opening the circuit.

Made from high-quality one-piece brass construction, these connectors do not compress the Schrader™ valve core during installation, making them extremely easy to use with absolutely no refrigerant loss or hand burns caused by refrigerant exposure.

• The sealing gaskets are compatible with all refrigerants and oils.
• Featuring a diamond-pattern grip for secure handling, it is also available in 5/16" flare version (code 09.08.231).
