The CR87 series chart recorders feature a microprocessor, a large backlit display, a front panel for easy operation, a disk rotation option (single or continuous), and the ability to operate with either 220V or 12V power. They are designed for use in refrigerators, freezers, storage spaces, laboratories, computer rooms, chambers, blood refrigerators, environmental applications, etc.

The series' key features include an easy-to-use foldable handle, adjustable support legs, and the option for wall mounting. It comes with two writing pens and a set of mixed-use writing discs for autonomy upon purchase. The device operates with an external transformer (included) and supports a 9V battery (not included) for uninterrupted operation in case of a power outage.
