Single-use UV BT-101 Universal dye vial, suitable for systems using all types of compressor oils, including mineral oil, POE (polyol ester), alkylbenzene (AB), and PVE, and compatible with refrigerants such as R134a, R404A, R507, R407C, R410A, etc. Suitable for refrigeration systems up to 1/2 HP, as well as all passenger vehicles using R134a or R12, and all monoblock (window-type) air conditioning units.

The BT-101 Universal Single-use UV Dye Vial is the ideal solution for introducing UV fluorescent dye into refrigeration and air conditioning systems. A dedicated application chart, based on compressor horsepower or the amount of oil in the compressor crankcase, provides accurate dosing instructions, making refrigerant leak detection quick, simple, and reliable.

The UV dye is injected into the refrigeration or air conditioning system only once and remains active throughout the life of the lubricant. Even if the system loses refrigerant repeatedly, no additional UV dye is required, unless the compressor oil or the compressor itself is replaced.
