Compared to the quality of brands such as Alco, Danfoss, Carly, etc., these are widely accepted in the industry while being significantly more affordable.

The primary function of a suction accumulator in a refrigeration or air conditioning system is to protect the compressor from returning liquid refrigerant. Liquid refrigerant can dilute the compressor oil, wash away the bearing lubrication, and damage the compressor valves. Any unevaporated portion of the refrigerant returning through the suction line is trapped inside the accumulator, allowing only vaporized refrigerant and oil to leave the vessel and return to the compressor. The accumulators feature a vessel of adequate capacity and an optimized U-shaped internal tube designed to minimize pressure drop and maximize flow through the vessel. Proper oil return is achieved through an orifice protected by a strainer. The inlet of the U-tube is positioned above and behind the vessel inlet to eliminate the possibility of liquid carryover caused by high refrigerant velocity. The accumulators are manufactured from steel with copper brazed connections and are available with a pressure relief valve on larger models.
