Shraeder core removal tools are among the most critical components of an effective evacuation system. Removing the valve cores allows for full, unrestricted flow through the service port, dramatically reducing both evacuation and/or recovery times.

Typical core removal tools from other brands are designed only for pressurized use, allowing replacement of leaking Shraeder valves without removing the refrigerant. Appion's tools, however, are vacuum-rated and pressure-rated, enabling standard servicing as well as faster evacuations and refrigerant recovery.

A ¼" side port allows isolation of hoses to monitor vacuum levels during evacuation. Purpose-built for vacuum applications, Appion's core removal tools are among the best you can buy.

Why remove valve cores?

Shraeder cores are designed to restrict flow and reduce refrigerant loss. However, up to 90% of the access port can be restricted by a Shraeder valve, severely limiting system performance. Removing the cores maximizes flow, potentially saving hours on any job.
