GELFRED COMPRESSORS S.A., is the only Spanish company dedicated to the production of semi-hermetic compressors for industrial refrigeration, with more than 70 years of experience in the market. Due to changes in the market, Gelpha is always developing, expanding product as well as increasing power capacities.
Today, selling three own brands: GELPHA, GELFRED, GELPHAMETIC. This allows you to have a wide product range known for their high quality, reliability and design. These compressors are manufactured from 0.75 up to 40 HP being currently exported to more than 36 countries around the world.
1.-Semi-hermetic compressors: compressors for industrial refrigeration.
They work with ecological gas respecting existing environmental regulations. There are 6 types of compressors: K, L, LR, MR, GR, VLR and VR with powers from 0.75 to 40 HP, 2, 3 and 4 cylinder models.
2 Condensing units: complete industrial applications on our compressors, appropriate to the needs of each specific need.
3. Refrigeration central racks: assembled in a personalized way. With advanced electronic systems of last generation.
4 Multicircuits: independent compressors for a multitude of installation system sharing frame and condenser, with easy maintenance and low cost of installation.
5 Standard Tandems and Bicomp systems:
Standard system consists of joining two compresors through stator cover side, thus working under the same suction system, taking advance of common internal compressors flow both in the part oil/lubrication as in the refrigerant one. Thanks to this system, Gelpha machinery is able to increase power with a very reasonable increase in the economic aspect.
BICOMP system consists of 2 standard single compressors, with its mechanical and electrical parts (engines, connection boxes) completely independent, joined by a common suction manifold, taking advantage of the same valve.
GELFRED COMPRESSORS S.A has an yearly production of 12,000 compressors approximately and this fact allow us to have a stock of more than 300 compressors which means to have an immediate delivery service.

From 2006 Gelfred Compressors, S.A, establishes the new society Gelpha America, C.A. implementing manufacture and assembly in Venezuela, specifically in the Zona Franca area of Paraguaná, Punto Fijo, Falcon State; facilitating export in Latin America countries, who already know GELPHA trademark from many years ago in the field of industrial refrigeration.
