Environmental Policy

We think that one's activity should not only base itself on economic criteria, but also respect for the environment, the correct use of natural resources and protect the environment are an integral part in the ZILMET manufacturing process.

We commit ourselves to:

1. Respect all the national, regional, provincial and municipal laws regarding the environment

2. Continuously evaluate the environmental efficiency of our systems to prevent and reduce pollution caused by our manufacturing process within the area where we are located.

3. Constantly train and involve personnel in environmental matters

Evaluate ahead of time the environmental impact of all new activities and products. We adopt necessary methods to prevent, reduce or eliminate pollution using economically feasible green technology. Regarding waste management, we promote reduction, recycling, re-use and separate disposal methods.

We take necessary measures to prevent accidental emissions of any type of matter or energy in the atmosphere that can be potentially harmful.

Regarding the environment, the responsibility is assumed by management of all levels, personnel as well as suppliers.

Applications

Zilmet has recently widened its brazed heat exchanger range introducing a series of products dedicated to the refrigeration and the conditioning market. The new series has been designed and made for use as evaporator and condenser with the various types of cooling, including high-pressure refrigerant R410a. Furthermore, they are particularly suitable for reversible cycle devices, oil coolers, de-superheaters, subcoolers, economizers and heat recuperators in general.

Technical features

Raw materials, production technologies and an efficient quality policy have permitted the Zilmet heat exchangers to obtain numerous approvals. In particular Zilmet heat exchangers suit all the security and functional requirements of the 97/23/EC directive
for pressure equipments.Zilmet has developed and introduced an exclusive integrated distribution system of the cooling fluid which allows a perfect flow stabilization, increasing the heat exchanger performance All the Zilmet Evaporators of the ZE series are equipped with an integrated distributor. The integrated distributor is made during the moulding phase. This provides a continuous high performance level and the fluid mixing is maximized before reaching the distributor.
